Signs of sensitive skin include: a feeling of tightness, burning, itching, or tingling. If you feel this way, it means that she needs special care.

How to independently determine your skin type?

You need to consider your face in the mirror, whether there is peeling, redness, dry areas, pimples, dilated vessels on it.

The reasons for such manifestations can be both exogenous factors arising from the influence of external factors, and endogenous – developing as a result of internal causes. These factors impair the protective function of the skin and lead to immunological disorders.

Endogenous factors include:

• genetic inheritance (inherent in light-skinned);
• stress, hormonal changes in the body (hot flashes during psycho-emotional stress);
• hormonal disruptions in the body;
• features of the microcirculation process.

   

Exogenous factors:

• lifestyle (alcohol consumption, abuse of spicy and fatty foods, the use of invigorating drinks (coffee), very hot drinks);
• environment (frost, heat, wind, sun rays, unfavorable ecological situation in the region);
• inappropriate home care;
• incorrectly selected aggressive cosmetic procedures (peelings, laser resurfacing, etc.);
• taking various systemic drugs (isotretinoin, diuretics, statins, etc.);
• frequent use of retinoids (derivatives of vitamin A), benzoyl benzoate emulsion.
