Mammoplasty is a surgical correction of the shape and volume of the mammary glands.Aesthetically perfect parameters are achieved by lifting the ptotic breast (mastopexy), increasing its volume.In plastic surgery, these correction methods are used both independently and in combination, complementing each other and solving several issues at once.
1. An integrated approach to planning mammoplasty allows you to create the desired contours of the mammary glands in one step, which is in line with modern trends in plastic surgery.
2. Reducing the number of stages of aesthetic breast correction reduces the risk of intra- and postoperative complications by half.
3. The pharmacological load on the body is halved both in the process of preparing for the operation, and during it (general anesthesia), and the recovery process.
4. An integrated approach to the correction of the mammary glands allows you to reduce the overall period of rehabilitation, since several aesthetic problems are solved at once.
5. Finally, the price of a lift operation and simultaneous breast augmentation with implants is noticeably lower than the cost of two interventions separately.
Correction of ptosis of the mammary glands with a simultaneous increase in their volume is advisable to plan if a woman wants to have a larger breast with the already existing stretching and prolapse of the mammary gland tissues on one or both sides.Most often, these situations are associated with:
- congenital or acquired asymmetry of the mammary glands;
- a significant and disproportionate decrease in breast size after the end of the lactation period;
- a noticeable reduction in the volume of the glands due to the rapid loss of body weight;
- age-related changes in breast tissue.
Breast augmentation with mastopexy is not performed when:
- pregnancy;
- breastfeeding a child;
- under 18 years of age;
- significant pathologies of the heart and blood vessels;
- acute infectious lesions;
- blood clotting disorders;
- diabetes and other serious diseases.
