There are several methods of Breast Lift Surgery. This type of plastic surgery requires an incision made at the mid-chest level. The incision is vertical and consists of an anchor. This procedure is suitable for women with larger breasts or moderate to severe sagging. It can be performed by a board-certified plastic surgeon in either an inpatient or outpatient facility. While breast lifts can be performed under local or general anesthesia, the patient should be at a healthy weight before the surgery.

This type of surgery involves anesthesia and two incisions in the upper chest and lower back. The cut runs from the base of the areola to the inframammary fold. The breasts are lifted, reshaped, and the excess skin is removed. The procedure removes extra skin and restores a more attractive silhouette. Patients often have droopy breasts from their teenage years and want a more youthful look.

The vertical breast lift procedure removes excess skin from the upper chest and repositions the areola and nipple. This procedure also removes a small amount of fat from the upper body and makes the breasts appear fuller and firmer. This type of surgery is best suited for women with smaller busts who want to have larger busts. If you would like to have a more sculpted breast size, you may opt for Breast Augmentation or a combined procedure.
